There’s not a whole lot to do when you grow up in rural Colorado. Entertaining yourself becomes an integral part of your childhood. For me, that entertainment was art. Now as then, I find myself drawn to creating images of both beauty and humor. In fact, if I’m not giggling to myself, I’m not there yet.

It may be one of the reasons my early career path led me to advertising where I giggled my way through over 15 years of great experiences- a few of which even grabbed some award winning attention. It is also the motivation that has led me to create the fine art you see here, many pieces of which have found their places in galleries in L.A., San Diego, Denver and Chicago. In fact, so did my work
touch the funny bone of both Neiman Marcus and Target, that they now license my images in their stores.

From my studio in Santa Monica, armed with little more than an eye for great people watching and a sharp pencil, I am continually inspired to create what has been described as "a fluid style that’s lyrical and resonates with wit".

Ultimately, to me, it is all about the laughter. What could be more entertaining than that?
