Carol Wyatt has been working in Los Angeles as an editorial and commercial illustrator since 1986. Some of her clients have included The Los Angeles Times, Good Housekeeping, Seventeen, Sports Illustrated for Kids, and various Larry Flynt publications.
After graduating from Otis/Parsons in 1987, Carol began painting and designing for animated commercials, music videos, and tv series. She learned about film and animation on the job as a designer and color supervisor on the first 4 seasons of The Simpsons. Since then, Carol has worked for most animation studios; as a designer, painter, and art director.
Carol loves to paint for herself and show in galleries. She has had a few exhibitions in the LA area. Her personal work tends to be sarcastic, feministic, and sometimes political. Now that she is a mother of two children, she paints about her own experience balancing work and children while living in a vast metropolis.
